Condolence: Although I have known Irene a long time through my connection with her family, I didn't get to know her well till the last 3 years or so when I spent several months volunteering at the nursing home she resided at. Although her short term memory was starting to go by this point, she could recall details from 40 years ago quite clearly. She told me many stories about her husband Fred and her daughters Karen, Cindy and Linda. I got to know her a little bit and became quite fond of her. I would sometimes help her get seated in the dining room and she always smile and thank me. I will miss you Irene. I know heaven has a place for someone as kind and compassionate as you.
