It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Irene, on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at the age of 80. Predeceased by her parents Irene and Walter Conn, one sister and five brothers. Cherished wife of the late Wilfred MacKay. Loving mother of Linda MacKay (Alan Williams), Karen Ottley and Cynthia (Paul) Brown. Devoted grandmother of Chantelle Brown (Jay Wildman), Christian Hamilton and Patrick Williams. Proud great-grandmother of Lexi Hamilton. Dear sister of Gordon (Linda) Conn and sister in laws Mary (the late Frank) Conn, Jane (the late Don) Conn & Dorothy (the late Archie) Humpartzoomiam. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, Ontario, on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2-3 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to follow in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated.
