Obituary for Margaret Meszaros

Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on Saturday, July 22, 2017 in her 92nd year. Born Margaret (nee Barta) in Hungary. Emigrated to Canada with her two sons in 1962 to join her husband. Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank in 2002. Loving mother of Frank Jr. and his wife Pat, and Jim and his wife Jennifer. Cherished grandmother of Carolyn and her husband Nelson Couto, Sondra and Ashlee, and proud great-grandmother to Hannah, Trinity, Evora and Truman. Margaret loved cooking, particularly for family, and also enjoyed gardening with a special love of roses. Margaret will be sadly missed by family and friends. The family will receive friends at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. A funeral service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre or the Stedman Community Hospice.
