HUGHES, Jane (Jean) Querns Brydson

Suddenly at her residence on Thursday, May 11, 2017, in her 87 th year, re-

united with her late husband Arthur (2015). Loving mother of Kathleen

Anne Janzen (Mark) and Margaret Eves (Brian). Devoted grandmother of

Margaret, Peter and Hilary Janzen; and Matthew and David Eves. Proud

great-grandmother of Christopher Greenfield. She will be dearly missed

by her sister, Irene Phillips (Mike); and brother Bill Moore (Sandra).

Predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Minnie Moore, and her sister,

Sheila Sturmer. Will be fondly remembered by her sister-in- law Betty

Sinden and her beloved friend Kay Robus. She is a past employee of Bell

Canada and Sears Canada. Jean loved crossword puzzles, baked a

fabulous apple pie and knitted countless sweaters for her grandchildren at

the Stitch Club. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL

HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Wednesday, May 17,

2017, from 12 noon, with a Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at

1:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer

Society would be appreciated.
