BONNEY, Iva Maxeen (Nee Joynes) –
Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Stedman Community Hospice on Monday, March 27, 2017, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Howard (March 27, 2012). Beloved mother of the 5 B's, Brian (Sarah), Bruce (Charmaine), Bev Spiegelberg (the late Tom), Brenda Bishop (the late Herb) and Barb Hilborn (Gord). Much loved grandma of Shelley (Glenn), Steven (Tanya), Brent (Amber), Chad ( Melissa), Brandy, Chris (Dar), Teresa, Tom, John (Kristy), Becky (Brandon) and Kenny (Anna). Great grandma of Elizabeth, Jacob, Kayla, Abreya, Cavin, Nathan, Grace, Jade, Hunter, Adelyn, Ivy, Hannah, Emma, Austin, Jaxson and Grayson. She is predeceased by her parents Herbert and Maria Joynes and will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Most friends and family knew her as Mickey. She always thought of others before herself. She knitted mitts, slippers and hats for the church. A heartfelt thank you for the love, support, care and compassion that was shown to Mickey and the entire family from all of the staff and volunteers at Stedman Community Hospice. Dr. Gladstone and Dr. Matt, your presence always put a smile on our mother's face. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Reverend Sharla and Reverend Margaret, you gave peace to our mother and our family. Cremation has taken place. As per Mickey’s wishes a private service has been held in her honour, officiated by The Reverend Sharla of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, St George.
