Obituary for Wayne "Homer" MacLeod

Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, with family by his side on June 3, 2016 at the age of 71. Loving husband and best friend for 52 years to Janet (nee Davis) of Brantford. Cherished father to Scott (Joanne) of Vanessa, Mike (Penny) of Brantford and Tim (Kim) of Brantford. Proud grandfather to Nicole (Adam), Jeff (Katie), Ashlie, Taylor, Mallory (Connor), Matthew (Elyssa), Brittney and Brenden. Gpa to 8 precious great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Fred (1987) and Grace (nee Ryan, 2001). Dear brother to Joyce, Pat, Linda, Cheryl, Tim (Colleen), Brenda and Andrew, all of Hamilton. Brother-in-law to Mary Ann (Bruce) Dawes of Brantford, and Sylvia (Nick) Skomorowski of Coquitlam, BC. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Wayne’s robust smile, sense of humour and loving nature will be greatly missed but never forgotten by his large family and many friends. Wayne had a great passion for golf and spending time with his family. He loved working as a starter at Northridge Golf Club, enjoyed Florida getaways and cheering on his favourite teams. At Wayne’s request cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private celebration of life will be held. Online condolences and donations to a charity of your choice can be made through www.dennistoll.ca

The family would like to thank everyone for all their love and support.
