Obituary for Nickolaj "Nick" Bowkunowicz

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Mary (2014). Loving father of Christina and her husband Edward Legin and Paul and his wife Donna Bowkunowicz. Cherished Jedi of Dianne and her husband Jason Beauregard, Derrick and his wife Alisha Legin and Eric and Ainsley Bowkunowicz. Proud great Jedi of Hannah, Olivia and Emily Beauregard. Brother of Stefania of Belarus. Missed by his four legged friends Maddy and Bailey. He was predeceased by five brothers. Nick will be remembered by his friends for his kindness, generousity and his love of life. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12 p.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. If desired, donations in Nick’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Kidney Foundation. www.dennistoll.ca
