It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bill Collings at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, January 25, 2016 at the age of 81 years. Loving husband of Bev. Much loved father of Brenda (Jim), John (Debbie), Michael (Pam) and Carrie (Gary). Adored papa of Jodi, Gina, Tracy, Shawn, Ashley, Tyler, Terry and Jamie. Proud great-grandfather of 11. Survived by sister Jackie DeVeto and predeceased by sister Barbara Treverton. He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and his loving dog “Sassy”. Special thanks to neighbours, doctors and nurses from the Stedman Community Hospice and BGH Palliative Care staff. The family will receive friends at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford, on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the BGH Palliative Care, Stedman Community Hospice of the charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place.
