It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Krystyna Danuta Gotkowski announce her passing on Monday, November 16, 2015 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 38 years to Ron. Loving mother to Tanya and her husband Mark Straisfeld, and to Monica and her husband David Kennedy. Much loved Babcia to Lucy. Pre-deceased by her parents Lucjan and Helena Kowalewski, her sister Teresa Madejczyk, and her brother Grzegorz. Fondly remembered by her Ciocia Jadzia and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family here and in Poland. Krystyna was a proud member of the Polish community in Brantford and taught the Polish language at the Polish Hall on Pearl St. for 36 years. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. with C.W.L. Rosary at 3:30 p.m. and Parish Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 235 Brant Ave., Brantford on Friday November 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.  Donations should be made to St. Joseph’s Parish - Elevator Fund or Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre Foundation are appreciated.
