Bernard Henry Schaus

Passed away suddenly at Park Lane Terrace in his 94th year. Dearly loved Husband of Doreen for 61 wonderful years. Loving Father of Brian (Margaret), David, and Jeffrey (Laurie). Much loved Grandfather of Michael (Erin), Kimberly Tensen (Jonathan), Brittany, Wesley, Meghan Anderson-White (Nick), and Courtney. Loving Great-Grandfather of Evan, Serena, and Ryla. Bernard was predeceased by his parents Norman & Elizabeth, his brother Ron and his sister Janet Schneider. He is survived by his sisters Elayne Hilliard and Mildred Eidt, and his brother Orland. Bernard is a veteran, and worked for Bell Canada for 36 years. After he retired he became a volunteer with the Bell Pioneers. Bernard will be sadly missed by all who loved him. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 25th at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 CHARING CROSS STREET, BRANTFORD from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday May 26th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Brantford. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
