Mary went to join her beloved husband Wallace after only 11 days apart on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in her 89th year. Cherished mother of Dan (Helen), Theresa (Roger), Peter (Cute), Michael (Marg), Mary, Cathy, Nancy (Barry) and Joan (Rick). Grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of 8. Mary is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Frank, Bill, Jerry and Tom. Mary was a dedicated member of the C.W.L. for over 60 years. She was also an avid card player and wonderful friend to many. Most of all, Mom was the strength and support as the matriarch of her family, whom she adored. Special thank you to the staff and Nurses of the VON, Bayshore and Stedman Hospice Outreach, especially Amanda, Samantha, Diana, Paula, Starla, Mark and Eva for their exceptional care and support.
Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers to be recited at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Basil’s Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations in memory of Mary can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
