It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey Elcomb announces her passing after a brief illness at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, December 25th, 2018 at the age of 96 years. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years Frank William Charles Elcomb and her son Kent Douglas Elcomb.
Audrey will be lovingly remembered by her children, Karen Stewart (Ian) of Creedmoor, NC and Kevan Elcomb (Kimberly) of Aylmer, Quebec. Cherished memories of Audrey are left with her grandson Erich (Catherine) and her great-grandson Matheo. Audrey also leaves behind several nieces and nephews as well as brother-in-law Dave Elcomb (Avis). A special thanks to niece Judi Slaman for her support and help.
Audrey was always willing to give a charitable hand when needed. She volunteered for many years at the Christmas Baskets program and also volunteered at the Brant County Genealogy library in Smokey Hollow where she resided for several years.
A funeral service for Audrey will be held Saturday, December 29th, at 2:30 pm at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Brantford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Audrey can be made to Christmas Baskets (crs-help.ca) or a charity of your choosing.
