Peacefully in Brantford on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late George Jones (2007). Survived by son Wynn; loving grandmother of Chris (Heather). Also survived by sister Mair Thompson of England. Glenys will be missed by her nieces and nephews including Anita and Ron Hill, Wendy Slawich, Heather Howes and Linda Jones and their families. She along with George were instrumental in founding the Brantford Harlequins and especially acquiring the playing fields. Friends will be received at Grace Anglican Church, 15 Albion Street, Brantford on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 1 pm. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 pm. Arrangements entrusted to TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Brant SPCA appreciated.
