Dear Doug, Sandra, Brian and Janine and your families. Ethel let me know the other day about Velma's passing. I trust that your hearts are filled with wonderful memories of her life and impact. I have such great memories of Orkney days and also in more recent years in Brantford. May you sense the love and prayers of others.

Dear Doug, Sandra, Brian, and Janine: Your Mom was my Sunday School teacher when we moved to Orkney. She made a big impact on me through her faithful life and generous spirit. At some point she gave each of us kids in the class a bean seed to plant, I'm guessing to illustrate a Bible story. It must have been in winter, because I remember putting the seed between layers of paper towel inside a plastic glass! In more recent years, it was a treat to catch up with her a little when I was in Brantford. You have all been in my thoughts over these last few days. May God give you comfort as you mourn her loss.

Very sorry to hear of Mrs. Ottman's passing. She was a very special person. She was "family". She will be missed by us all. Condolences to Doug, Sandra, Brian, Janine and families. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Dear Precious Friends: There are no adequate words to say to describe this beautiful lady and special friend. WE loved her so much. She and her family have been part of our lives for nearly 60 years. Our hearts are full of sorrow at her passing but also full of rejoicing as she is now with Jesus whom she loved and served to faithfully. Wish we could be there with you all during this time. Dear Ottman Family , I'm so sorry for your loss. When we lose a loved one in death, we may become overwhelmed by grief. The Bible tells us that Jesus wept when his dear friend Lazarus died. Yet, just minutes later Jesus performed an astounding miracle of raising Lazarus  back to life!In doing so, he gave all mankind solid grounds for faith in the amazing promise he had made earlier when he said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) May the precious hope of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth comfort you during this time.
