It is with great sadness to announce the passing on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, peacefully at Hardy Terrace. Joan was born to Frances and James Deering on October 4, 1932 in Saint John, New Brunswick. Predeceased by her siblings Evelyn, James and Robert, granddaughter Andrea, daughter June and Brian Forster. Joan will be missed by her loving husband of 37 years, John Nicholls; children Sue Ann and (David) Bell, Eddie Squire and Carrie Rodgers; grandchildren Jeff (Amy) Meloche, Jennifer (Grant) Russell, Tracey (Mike) Gurr, Bradley and Andrew Rodgers, great-grandchildren Audrey and Calvin, Grayson and Colton, Nolan and Quinn.
