Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday December 8, 2017. Dorothy Van Sickle in her 78th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Howard for 58 years. Loving Mom to Evelyn (Ron Bonnett), Denise 2009 (Glen Tanguay), Andrew Van Sickle (Diane), Lorna (Gary McMurray). Much loved Bumma to 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great- grandchildren. Dear Sister of Bill Eaton (Doreen), John Eaton (Vicky), Sister in-law Lorna (Jim Neeve), Frank Sloat. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Charlotte Eaton, Sister Margaret, Brother Andrew, and infant Sister. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday December 13, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Service in the chapel on Thursday December 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford. Donations to Canadian Lung Association or a charity of your choice appreciated.
