VANDER MAARL, Catharinus “Rinus” – after a long period of declining health, in his 89th year, Rinus was called home by His Lord, in his sleep on October 24, 2017. His hope was in His Saviour Jesus Christ, for this life and the life to come. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Jantiena Arentina (nee: Kok) and his children, Janeta & Peter Vandermeulen, Joanne & Len Schuurman, Harry & Irene Vandermaarl, Patricia & Bernie van Eyk, Carl & Nicole Vandermaarl and Marg & Jerry Benjamins. Also survived by 28 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 brothers in the Netherlands. Predeceased by his granddaughter Jessica. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 3-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Grace Free Reformed Church, 17 Patterson Avenue, Brantford on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. A private family interment will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Word and Deed Ministries would be greatly appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca
