It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Samiram at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, October 16, 2017 in her 103rd year. Beloved wife of the late John Gobelian (2013) for 70 years. Much loved mother of Mike (Sirarpi) Gobelian and Mayda (Jack) Oskan. Proud matzmama of Arthur (Lisa), Hera, Nazan and great-grandma of Emma and Lucas. Sister of Anahit “Anna” Darderian. Much loved aunt of Walter and Renee of Brazil. Samiram will also be missed by her extended family in Canada and Istanbul.
The family will receive friends at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Friday, October 20th, 2017 from 1:00p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations in memory of Samiram can be made to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation.
