CORBETT, George (Alfred) - passed away peacefully at home in his 71st year, with his loving family by his side on September 25th, 2017. Adored husband and best friend of Janette Corbett. Father of Stephen (Diana) and Robert (Yuko). Fantastic granda of Emma, Noah, Mio, and Sena. George was predeceased by his mother Jeannie Elizabeth Corbett/Dow (nee Croft), father Randolph Corbett, step father Douglas Dow and his brother Graham. He is survived by his siblings Connie (Charlotte), Billy (Agnes), Isabel (Doug), Diane, Raymond and Douglas. George was much loved and will by missed by his many pals and his extended family both in Canada and in Scotland, including his many nieces and nephews, and his family Sandra, Linda, John and Jan in Scotland. The family would like to express their appreciation to the many doctors, nurses, and care-givers who helped and supported George over the past two years. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday (TODAY) from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brant County SPCA would be appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca
