Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at the Stedman Community Hospice on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the age of 37. Beloved wife of the late Dale Holyome (2014). Cherished mother of Gisele and Sophia. Loving and devoted daughter of Maria Gil and the late Manuel (2014). Adored sister of John Gil (Leonilda). Dear aunt of Nicholas, Jacob, Hilary, Grace, Presley and Jamie. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by Susan and Gerry Holyome; their children Melanie and Jason and their extended family, as well as her friends that were there for her during her courageous battle. Special thanks to Tanya Moxham and Monica Torma for all that they have done for Elizabeth and our family. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers to be recited at 8 p.m. that evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Assumption Mausoleum, Holy Cross Cemetery, Paris. Donations in memory of Elizabeth can be made to a trust fund for her girls.
