On September 14, 2017 Tom returned to his eternal home. Loving husband of Grace (nee deWeerd). Much loved father of Grant and Loni, Dean and Rebecca. Proud Opa of Matthew and David. Dear brother of Bill and the late Mettie, Anne and Nick, the late Femmie and the late Wyn, Helen and Martin, Mans and Rose. Brother-in-law of Susan, John and Nella, Rose and Mans, the late Ralph and Theresa and Terry. He was predeceased by his parents Roelof and Annie Hoekman. Tom was the owner and operator of Hoekman Plumbing, starting in 1965 and working in the community until his retirement. Special thanks to the Juravinski Cancer Centre and much appreciation to the VON for all their wonderful care. As per Tom’s wishes a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. at the Charing Cross Reception Suites, adjacent to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford.
