Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in the comfort of his home at the age of 70 years. He was born September 13, 1947 in Brantford, Ontario. Gary and his wife Donna (nee Gerrard) shared 45 years of marriage and raised two children, Kelly and Jason. Special Gramper to Wes, Damian, Taylor and Jess. Gary leaves behind his brothers Doug (Janet) and Ken (the late Linda), his sisters Sally (Bob) (the late Ed), Cheryl and Patricia (Jacques), brother-in-law Rick (Deborah), sister-in-law Margaret (Gary), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Elgin and Estelle, his brother Wayne and his sister Catharine. The family will receive friends at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. and will resume on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
