Obituary for Earl Webster Scarrow

SCARROW, Earl Webster – It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Earl on March 18, 2017. Born in Keady, Ontario on July 2, 1916. Predeceased by Marjorie, his wife of 73 years. Survived by his daughter Jane and son-in-law Kevin West. Fondly remembered by his sister Wilda Drummond of Milverton and dear friend Mrs. Joan Simon. After studying engineering at Queens University, Earl worked in the cordage industry in Welland, Plymouth MA, and Montreal before joining the Brantford Cordage Co. Following his cordage years, Earl worked as a consulting engineer for an addition to Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Earl was past president of Junior Achievement, on the board of trustees for Farringdon Burial Ground, a long time member of the Brantford Flying Club and a former chairman of the board of governors of Mohawk College in Hamilton. Following a private burial at Farringdon Burial Ground, the family invites friends to the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 12 p.m. for the funeral service.
