YUHASZ, Carl Joseph
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carl, at the Juravinski Hospital on Monday, December 12, 2016. He was in his 79th year. Much loved husband and best friend of Florence (nee Mackie) for over 48 years. Loving father of Carol (Bill) Gburski, Cheryl Yuhasz, Colleen Armstrong, Charlene Yuhasz, Gary (Diane) Yuhasz, Pamela Yuhasz and Kim (Lance) Cline. Proud papa of Crystal (Joe), Caryn, Mark, Luke, Isaac, Gavin (Alicia), Garrett (Jen), Trista and Tyler. Great-papa of Marilena, William, Logan and Alisha. Dear brother of Gizzella Barrows, Elizabeth Mendiola, Margaret Berger, Mary Mason and the late Steve Yuhasz, the late Albert Yuhasz and the late Madeline Rapley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Wayne Stephenson. Carl was a talented musician and member of “The Fugitives”. He loved to sing and play his guitar. Carl was a well known people person and an all around sports fan. Family and friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 5-9 p.m. and Friday, December 16, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carl can be made to the Juravinski Cancer Center Foundation.
