It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carol Burns Eagle on December 21st in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Eagle (2003), loving mother to Tracy and Carolyn (Paul), Grandma to Kaitlin, Justin, Julian, Aidan, and Callum. Sister to Don Burns and the late Ted Burns, Auntie Carol to Kate (Danny), daughter of the late Viola and Gordon Burns, and Mrs. Eagle to the Ladies of the ‘80s. She will be remembered for her kindness, her shortbread, her knitting, and for always knowing the weather forecast. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choice.
